How We Care for Your Information

We only collect personal information when you choose to send it through one of our forms:

• Contact form: your name, email address, optional phone number, and message, used to reply to you.
• Event RSVP: your email address and the names of your guests, used to plan the event and contact you about it.
• Book orders: your name, email, shipping address, quantity, and any note, used to fulfill and ship your order.

Form submissions are stored in our secure database and sent by email to ministry staff through our email delivery provider, Resend. Only authorized ministry staff can see them.

We do not collect or store card or bank details on this website. Book payments are completed on Venmo or PayPal, and online gifts are processed by our giving partner BetterUnite. These services handle your payment information under their own privacy policies.

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (for example, which pages are visited). Google Analytics only loads, and analytics cookies are only set, after you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you decline, we don't load it.

We save your choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again. Our site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address so the fonts can display.

Change your cookie preferences

We use your information only for the purpose you gave it. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers listed above to run the site, or when required by law.

We will only add you to a newsletter or mailing list if you separately ask us to.

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us at alicia@laurenslighthousetemple.com and we will delete it.

We keep form submissions only as long as needed to respond, complete your order, or run the related event, and then delete them when they are no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

You may ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your analytics consent at any time. Email alicia@laurenslighthousetemple.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Our site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), limits staff access to submissions, and protects our forms against abuse. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive information such as financial or health details through our forms.
